THE ROLE
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Operations Coordinator to support our Business Operations team. This role is integral to the efficient functioning of the company, focusing on the creation and management of BI tools and providing operational support across departments. You will work closely with various teams, providing insights through reporting tools created in Metabase and supporting operations with Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and project management applications. This position reports to the Senior Director, Business Operations, and is based in Las Vegas.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • BI Tool Development & Management:
    • Consult with various departments to assess needs, identify opportunities, and implement solutions
    • Create and manage customized reporting tools using Metabase.
    • Continuously optimize and update BI tools to meet evolving business needs
  • Business Operations Reporting & Audits:
    • Create and maintain operational reports, audits, and checks using Metabase, Microsoft Excel, and Google Sheets and Google AppScripts.
    • Support regular data analysis to ensure accuracy and efficiency in reporting
    • Develop and streamline processes to enhance operational efficiency
  • Project Management & Deadline Support:
    • Assist with managing timelines and deadlines across various departments
    • Use project management tools to track progress and ensure key milestones are met
    • Coordinate with the Senior Director of Business Operations and SVP of Business Operations on priority tasks and deliverables
  • Management and Maintenance of Internal Apps:
    • Provide support via management and maintenance of several internally built apps
    • Data and asset management
    • Administration support and training
  • Cross-Departmental Support:
    • Provide support on ad hoc requests from other departments, helping them leverage data and reporting for better decision-making
    • Facilitate communication and alignment across departments to streamline business operations
  • Continuous Improvement:
  • Gather feedback on communication performance and suggest improvements
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to enhance communication effectiveness
  • Other duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a business operations, data analysis, or similar role.
  • Proficiency with Metabase, Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, Google App Scripts, and SQL is essential.
  • Experience with project management tools such as Asana or similar platforms is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
  • Possess a strong work ethic with a high sense of responsibility in an ever-changing environment
  • Must be able to handle sensitive matters and exercise excellent judgment
  • Ability to work independently and within a team to juggle multiple prioritized tasks

WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • Must be able to tolerate loud noise levels & busy environments on site at our events
  • May sit for extended periods of time and work in drastic temperature climates onsite at our events
  • Must be willing to work during evening and weekend hours, as required, to meet deadlines
  • Must be willing to travel as required both domestically and abroad, if required
  • Must have a current passport and be able to travel worldwide without restriction
