Position Description
ElectriCom and Isbell Construction are part of a unified team delivering reliable telecommunications and utility infrastructure across the United States. ElectriCom, founded in 1960 in Paoli, Indiana, provides high-quality aerial and underground construction and maintenance services for broadband providers, electric utilities, cooperatives, and municipalities.
Isbell Construction, established in 1985 and now operating as an ElectriCom subsidiary, strengthens this work with specialized expertise in rural fiber construction, rock excavation, trenching, long-haul installation, and complex-terrain projects throughout the Southwest.

The Regional Operations Administrator is a support role that provides administrative, operational, financial, reporting, and project coordination support for assigned regions. This position serves as a key liaison between field leadership, customers, subcontractors, vendors, and internal departments to support accurate reporting, timely billing, project visibility, compliance, and operational readiness.
Successful Regional Operations Administrators personnel demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, adaptability, accountability, professionalism, and a customer-focused approach while effectively supporting multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Provide administrative and operational support to regional leadership and field personnel, including communication, meeting coordination, issue follow-up, and general project support.
  • Review field logs, production reports, timekeeping records, and related documentation to help ensure accuracy and timely submission.
  • Support billing activities including invoicing, reconciliations, work-in-progress (WIP) reporting, job cost tracking, and project closeout documentation.
  • Prepare, maintain, and distribute reports related to production, project progress, compliance, operational performance, and financial metrics.
  • Coordinate with Payroll, Billing, Finance, Fleet, HR, Safety, IT, and Operations to resolve issues and support business objectives.
  • Maintain customer, project, and compliance documentation, including permits, completion records, required deliverables, and supporting records.
  • Serve as a point of contact for customers, subcontractors, and vendors regarding documentation, project status, invoicing support, and related administrative matters.
  • Coordinate logistics and operational readiness activities, including travel arrangements, equipment and material readiness, site support, and regional events.
  • Support onboarding, safety reporting, expense documentation, training administration, and other compliance-related processes.
  • Provide support and guidance related to operational systems, reporting platforms, customer portals, and shared file management systems.
  • In addition to core responsibilities, this role may support:
    • Equipment and fleet coordination
    • Storm response logistics and operational support
    • Office and yard setup activities
    • Customer program administration
    • Subcontractor coordination
    • Employee onboarding and engagement initiatives

Position Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or higher preferred.
  • Three (3) years of experience in administrative support, operations support, project coordination, billing, accounting support, construction administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience supporting multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced operational environment preferred.
  • Construction, utility, telecommunications, transportation, or field service industry experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational, communication, time management, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to changing business needs, and work independently while exercising sound judgment.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, Word, and Teams.
  • Experience with reporting, billing support, document management, administrative systems, and the ability to learn new software applications.
