Job Description

An Associate Director, Programmatic leads and oversees programmatic buying strategies, ensuring campaigns meet client goals and deliver results. You will manage a team of programmatic specialists, providing mentorship and guidance to optimize performance. Being a bridge between our teams and clients, you will provide actionable insights, identify areas for improvement, and ensure best practices across accounts. This role is important to driving programmatic success while promoting collaboration and high performance within your team.

This is a hybrid role, requiring three days in-office each week. If contacted for an interview, your recruiter will discuss specifics with you, including any necessary reasonable accommodations. You will report to the Director, Programmatic.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor a team of managers and associates, guiding them on programmatic strategies, optimization techniques, and campaign execution.
  • Provide senior-level programmatic expertise to our teams (e.g., Media, Business Intelligence, Creative, Adย Operations) and external partners (clients, media agencies, platform providers).
  • Ensure campaigns are optimized for performance by leading your team to deliver data-driven recommendations that achieve client goals.
  • Maintain relationships with data, inventory, and platform partners to ensure best-in-class campaign execution and identify new opportunities.
  • Define and implement best practices for programmatic buying, campaign management, and reporting. Identify and guide process improvements to enhance efficiency and results.
  • Manage resources to meet service level expectations, addressing any challenges related to workload and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate across teams to ensure integrated strategies that use all available channels and platforms effectively.
  • Ensure client satisfaction by overseeing the execution of programmatic strategies and providing regular communication on campaign performance and optimization.
  • Support senior leadership in forecasting resource needs and driving revenue growth through enhanced programmatic capabilities.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in digital media, with 3+ years focusing in programmatic buying, campaign management, and optimization.
  • Knowledge of programmatic advertising, including Demand-Side Platforms (DSPs), Data Management Platforms (DMPs), and other relevant technologies.
  • Advanced proficiency in excel (can perform complex functions) for data analysis, reporting, and campaign tracking.
  • Ability to present complex programmatic concepts and strategic recommendations to clients and our teams.
  • Experience managing and mentoring programmatic teams, focusing on career development and skill-building.
  • Project management skills, able to handle multiple campaigns, assets, and deadlines with precision.
  • Ability to identify and resolve challenges before they impact campaigns.
  • Experience creating impactful PowerPoint presentations and presenting to clients and partners.
  • Collaborative mindset with experience working across cross-functional teams, including media strategy, creative, and analytics.
  • Awareness of current trends and developments in programmatic and digital media, and the ability to integrate these into applicable strategies.

ย Compensation Range: USD $97,375.00 - USD $139,965.00/Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
