Job description

Our client is seeking an Associate Account Executive to join a high-performing media sales team. This client-facing role serves as a key partner to a team of Account Executives, supporting every stage of the sales cycle-from prospecting and pre-sale strategy through campaign execution and post-sale account management. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in media sales, ad operations, media planning, or account management who is looking to grow into a client-facing sales role. The ideal candidate is highly organized, collaborative, analytical, and thrives in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
  • Full Time Hours, Contract through December 2026
  • Hybrid - ONSITE Philadelphia Mon - Thurs, Remote Fri
  • Rate Range: $40-46 per hour

Responsibilities:
  • Support Account Executives throughout the full sales lifecycle, including prospecting, pre-sale planning, campaign execution, and post-sale account management.
  • Coordinate responses to RFPs by partnering with marketing, planning, insights, and sales support teams to develop compelling proposals and client presentations.
  • Identify opportunities within existing accounts and assist in uncovering new business opportunities across linear, digital, streaming, and addressable advertising solutions.
  • Build strong relationships with agency and client partners, serving as a trusted point of contact throughout campaign execution.
  • Coordinate campaign implementation with internal teams to ensure all deliverables, sponsorship elements, and inventory are executed accurately and on schedule.
  • Prepare deal memos, campaign playbooks, sales presentations, pitch decks, recap decks, and performance reports.
  • Monitor campaign pacing, scheduling, and delivery while partnering with operations teams to resolve issues and ensure revenue is recognized accurately.
  • Secure creative assets, manage approvals, and coordinate campaign timelines from launch through completion.
  • Partner with research and analytics teams to develop campaign insights, custom reporting, and post-campaign performance recaps.
  • Track sales activity, client meetings, opportunities, and closed business within CRM platforms such as Salesforce.
  • Collaborate with planning, marketing, research, and operations teams to deliver exceptional client service and campaign execution.
  • Stay informed on media industry trends, advertising innovations, and competitive activity to identify opportunities for clients and sales teams.

Required Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of experience in media sales, account management, ad operations, media planning, or a related field.
  • Experience supporting both linear and/or digital advertising campaigns.
  • Understanding of the advertising sales process, including pre-sale, campaign execution, and post-sale support.
  • Experience responding to RFPs and developing sales presentations and client-facing materials.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret campaign data, media metrics, and business insights.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred) and Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with both internal teams and external clients.
  • Collaborative, proactive, and detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Preferred Background:
  • Experience in television, streaming, digital media, or advertising sales.
  • Knowledge of media planning, campaign trafficking, ad operations, or account management.
  • Familiarity with media metrics, pricing models, and campaign performance reporting.
  • Previous client-facing experience working with agencies or advertisers.
  • Experience managing a book of business post-sale and supporting one or more Account Executives.
