Job description

Overview

Lutron is seeking a collaborative and detail oriented Administrative Assistant to support Lutron’s Corporate Operations Vice President and team at Lutron's Global Headquarters in Coopersburg PA.  A successful Administrative Assistant will conserve their executive's time and promote the corporate image by representing the executive's internally and externally, providing liaison between key executives, customers, and employees. 


Responsibilities
  • Executes numerous meeting requests efficiently and timely through professional communication with those involved as well as sound judgment and prioritization
  • Arranges domestic and international corporate travel and meetings by developing itineraries and agendas; scheduling the air travel; booking other transportation; arranging lodging and meeting accommodations
  • Completes projects and special assignments by establishing objectives; determining priorities; managing time; gaining cooperation of others; monitoring progress; problem-solving; making adjustments to plans
  • Anticipates what is needed to accomplish the success of an event, project, or process including consultant agreements and purchase orders
  • Improves quality results by studying, evaluating, and re-designing processes and implementing changes. 

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma (or GED equivalent) required; Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum 5 years previous experience in an administrative support role; experience supporting managers/executives in coordinating calendars, travel logistics, meetings preferred 
  • Fluent with Microsoft Office Suite and experience with a variety of software-based ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Salesforce.com) 
  • Must be located within commutable distance of Coopersburg, PA to accommodate in-office schedules 
  • You are authorized to work in the U.S. and will not require Lutron to sponsor you for any work visa, such as an H-1B, either immediately or at any time in the future. Lutron does not offer work visa sponsorship for this position.
