The Opportunity:
The Manager, Ad Operations will oversee the day-to-day operations and management of ad operation teams ensuring the successful management and delivery of clients' campaigns. This role will work closely across different functions and levels of the company, developing collaborative relationships across Sales, Product, Operations, Finance, and Technology teams. In this role you will oversee the growth and development of direct reports and be responsible to ensure team members manage all client campaigns accurately, efficiently, and effectively to hit client, team, and company goals.
Responsibilities:
  • Be the SME on all things Ad Operations - know the inner workings of all teams, processes, and SLAs, campaign management, best practices.
  • Oversee the campaign management process for direct reports including trafficking, QA, billing, troubleshooting, optimization, collaboration with all members of assigned pods.
  • Lead, grow, develop, drive accountability, manage performance, and train a group of Campaign Managers.
  • Help onboard and train new Campaign Managers.
  • Work cross-functionally with other teams to collaborate, solve problems, and find solutions to drive the success of the team. Includes Operations, Account Management, Sales, Product, Engineering, and Data teams and other managers.
  • Create and improve internal business processes.
  • Analyze data and trends to optimize various internal processes.
  • Help monitor overall business metrics and KPIs to ensure the success of our clients' campaigns and business.
  • Assist teams as needed to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives.
  • Resolve issues that arise including reporting discrepancies, fulfillment issues, creative policing, customer complaints, and conflicts.
  • Proactively identify inefficiencies across various teams and processes and work with the leadership team to provide and implement recommendations and solutions.
  • Lead the process to understand client and market needs and implement programs to achieve those goals.
  • Liaison with teams across the globe on day-to-day operations.
Requirements:
  • 4+ years experience in ad operations, client services, digital marketing agency or publisher and ad tech platforms
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoint required
  • Idea-driven; creates and improves strategies and processes
  • Ability to see the "big picture", identify key issues, and provide proactive tactical and strategic recommendations
  • Detail-oriented and diligent work ethic with excellent organizational, project/time management, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume, and deadline-driven environment
  • Excellent communicator, including written, oral, and presentation skills. Able to communicate and present information in a clear way to a diverse audience.
  • Operate with a high level of ownership, integrity, and proactivity.
  • Be curious and have a passion to learn new things and are highly adaptable.

  • Knowledge about DSPs, DV, IAS, DFA/DCM

  • Tier 1* (San Francisco Bay Area, New York City Tri-State Area, Los Angeles Metro Area, and Seattle Metro Area)$123,000 - $176,000/year
  • Tier 2* (all other U.S. Locations outside of Tier 1)

The compensation offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
