Job Description
This role will build and lead a team of digital advertising operations and measurement professionals. The Director will oversee all functions of Digital Ad Operations including execution of digital media campaigns, driving innovation in ad operations, analytics and data strategy. This role requires deep expertise in marketing technology, strategic leadership, and the ability to collaborate with senior executives, clients, and cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
  • Lead strategic conversations with senior clients and internal teams on ad technology and data management
  • Define and implement technology roadmaps that improve operational efficiency, media performance, and data quality
  • Oversee the integration of emerging technologies into media strategies, ensuring alignment with business goals
  • Act as a key advisor to clients, providing strategic recommendations on ad technology and media execution
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, advising on new opportunities, risks, and innovations
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with technology vendors and media partners. Staying abreast of emerging tools and technology, ensuring agency and clients are using the right solutions
  • Develop and implement robust QA systems and tooling for monitoring and troubleshooting
  • Ensure timely execution of campaigns, holding internal teams and external partners accountable for deliverables
  • Manage and mentor a team of Associate Directors, Managers, and Analysts, fostering career growth and technical expertise
  • Support VP and SVP of Ad Operations to influence team culture, shape communication, engagement, and innovation

Qualifications
  • B.A. or B.S. in Marketing, Advertising, Computer Science or related field highly preferred
  • 8+ years of experience in digital media, ad technology, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience leading and managing high-performing teams
  • Strong client management skills with experience presenting to and advising senior executives
  • Expertise in ad serving platforms (GMP, Innovid, XR), DMPs, DSPs, verification tools (IAS, DV), and TMS (GTM, Tealium, Adobe Launch)
  • Ability to navigate complex technology ecosystems and translate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Examples of tools and applications specific to each side of the practice include
  • Knowledge of the working relationships with second- and third-party vendor

Compensation Range: USD $135,375.00 - USD $216,684.00/Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
