The Sales team drives revenue growth by partnering with pharmaceutical brands, agencies, identity, media and ad tech platform partners to deliver IQVIA Digital solutions that meet client needs across the healthcare digital ecosystem. The team is responsible for building and managing strategic client relationships, identifying and developing new opportunities, and bringing the full breadth of IQVIA Digital's capabilities to market to help clients achieve their marketing and brand objectives.

Overview:

IQVIA Digital is seeking a Director, Agency Partnershipsto lead strategic engagement with key agency partners across the healthcare and life sciences ecosystem. This role will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding adoption of IQVIA Digital solutions, and strengthening long-term partnerships with media, creative, and specialty healthcare agencies.

This is a people leadership role, responsible for building, leading, and developing a team of agency-focused sellers, on key strategic relationships.

The ideal candidate is a leader with deep expertise in digital media, platform partnerships, and data-driven marketing, with a proven ability to manage high-performing teams.

Responsibilities:

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, mentor, and scale a team of agency partnership sellers responsible for driving revenue across assigned accounts
  • Set clear performance expectations, quotas, and success metrics for team members
  • Coach team on deal strategy, pipeline development, and partner engagement best practices
  • Foster a high-performance, collaborative, and accountable sales culture

Agency Partnership Development & Management

  • Build, manage, and grow strategic relationships with holding companies, independent agencies, and healthcare-focused partners
  • Serve as a senior escalation point and executive sponsor across priority agency accounts
  • Establish joint business plans and partnership frameworks to drive mutual growth

Revenue Growth & Pipeline Ownership

  • Own and oversee agency-driven revenue across the team, including pipeline creation, forecasting, and quota attainment
  • Guide team in identifying, prioritizing, and closing high-value opportunities
  • Expand share of wallet across existing and prospective agency partners

Go-to-Market Strategy

  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams to position IQVIA Digital solutions effectively within the agency ecosystem
  • Drive adoption of key offerings, including, Audience & Data Solutions, Programmatic & Paid Media capabilitiesand Measurement & Analytics Platforms
  • Ensure team is equipped to translate complex healthcare data capabilities into compelling, agency-ready solutions

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Partner closely with Account Management & Client Services, Product & Data Science teams and Marketing & Commercial Leadership
  • Align internal stakeholders to support scalable execution of agency-led programs

Thought Leadership & Industry Presence

  • Represent IQVIA Digital in senior-level agency meetings, presentations, and industry forums
  • Provide leadership perspective on healthcare marketing trends, data privacy, and media innovation
  • Elevate team credibility through consistent, high-value engagement with partners

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
  • 10+ years of experience in digital media, agency partnerships, or platform sales; healthcare, life sciences, or regulated industry marketing (preferred)
  • 3+ years of direct people management experience, leading quota-carrying sales or partnership teams
  • Proven track record of driving revenue through agency or partner ecosystems
  • Experience with paid media (programmatic, search, social) and data-driven targeting and measurement solutions
  • Experience working within or alongside healthcare agencies
  • Familiarity with privacy regulations and healthcare data compliance
  • Background in audience-first marketing strategies
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and scale high-performing sales teams
  • Strong executive presence with ability to influence senior stakeholders
  • Deep understanding of agency landscape and operating models
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on deal support
  • Ability to travel 25%

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $111,200.00 - $309,800.00.
