What is an actuarial manager?

Actuarial Managers are professionals who oversee teams of actuaries and manage actuarial functions within organizations such as insurance companies, consulting firms, or financial institutions. They are responsible for analyzing data, assessing financial risks, and developing strategies to minimize costs and maximize profitability. In addition to technical actuarial work, they supervise staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and communicate complex findings to senior leadership.
