What is an actuarial audit manager?

An Actuarial Audit Manager is a professional who oversees audits of actuarial processes and financial statements, typically within insurance or consulting firms. They ensure that actuarial models, assumptions, and calculations comply with regulatory standards and industry best practices. This role involves leading audit teams, identifying risks, reviewing actuarial reports, and communicating findings to stakeholders. Actuarial Audit Managers play a key role in helping organizations maintain transparency, accuracy, and compliance in their actuarial functions.
