Job description

  • You will identify, develop, and implement preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs for electrical systems across multiple facilities
  • Maintain and troubleshoot industrial electrical distribution equipment, including substations, breakers, switchgear, MCCs, protective relays, transformers (up to 138kV), battery/UPS systems, motors (up to 45,000 hp / 15,000 volts), and backup generators (up to 1500kW)
  • And you will plan, schedule, coordinate, and execute preventive and predictive maintenance activities, including IR thermography, transformer oil analysis, partial discharge analysis, and power quality analysis
  • Analyze equipment performance data to ensure optimal reliability and efficiency
  • You will support root cause analysis (RCA) and resolve chronic electrical equipment issues (bad actors)
  • Assist with turnaround planning, scope development, and cost estimation for electrical work
  • Provide technical direction to plant personnel and contractors to ensure safe and effective execution of work
  • Further, you will work independently to make technical decisions and provide field recommendations
  • Support resolution of high-impact issues with a focus on safety, reliability, and performance
  • Provide off-hours support and maintain availability as required
