Wage: $14.80-$19.22, based on experience

Bayshore Residence and Rehabilitation Center is recruiting for an Activity Assistant to become a part of our team!

Providing our residents with fun and entertaining engaging activities is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do at the facility. As an activity assistant, your primary role is to engage individuals with in meaningful and stimulating activities that promote cognitive function, physical health, socialization, and emotional well-being.

As an activity assistant, you will work closely with the residents leading hourly programs for individuals and groups, along with transporting and assisting residents to and from activities. The activity assistant supports and assists the Activities Director in all necessary programming.

Job Requirements of Activity Aide:

- Must be 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.

- Must enjoy taking care of others and be a team player

- Prefer at least one-year prior experience working with elders or in a Memory Care setting

- Motivation to get tasks completed timely and efficiently

- Oral and Written English Communication Skills

- A teamwork attitude
