We offer a wide range of group fitness classes and activities designed to inspire, motivate, and empower our members. In addition, we offer services to engage our community members, such as programs like Swim, Volleyball, Basketball, as well as Parties. Our team is dedicated to fostering an inclusive, supportive environment that encourages lasting fitness journeys through connection, support, and fun. Living a healthy lifestyle can be difficult, but we make it simple and fun!
Position Overview:
We're looking for an outgoing, energetic individual who thrives in a fast-paced, family-friendly environment and is passionate about serving both children and their parents/guardians. As an Activity Staff member, you play a key role in delivering exceptional experiences for our youngest members while helping adults enjoy everything the Courthouse has to offer.
This role is cross-trained across all youth program areas, including Club Activities, Kids Court, Swim Lessons, and Parties. You'll not only lead engaging, safe, and fun activities for kids, but also support adult members by ensuring their children are well cared for-allowing them to fully participate in club amenities like fitness classes, sports, and wellness programs.
Specific Department:
  • Swim Instructor - Courthouse offers a variety of swim opportunities from parent-tot (taught), group lessons, private lessons, and summer camps. Swim instructors are responsible for teaching swim skills guided by Swim America curriculum to participants.
  • Kid's Court - Courthouse's childcare setting is called Kid's Court. This allows our members (parents/ guardians) to drop off their children in a safe and friendly environment while they remain on site and use the Courthouse facilities.
  • Parties - Facilitates a rentable party by hosting that event. These staff will do setup and take down of the rentable party options, including inflatables, tables, chairs, games, etc.

  • Promote the culture, values, and mission of Courthouse Club Fitness
  • Strong ability or experience caring for and/or supervising children
  • Be an engaging host in guiding the experience of the given activity
  • Mature and confident ability to work with parents/guardians
  • Ensuring the environment is safe, clean, organized, and well-maintained
  • Know and enforce all department policies
  • Be knowledgeable about programming

Qualifications:
  • Confidence in working with and managing multiple children from 2 months to 13 years
  • Customer service experience
  • Incorporate rapport to strengthen customer satisfaction
  • Adaptable to a busy work environment
  • Reliable transportation

Preferred Skills:
  • Able to sit or stand for extended periods
  • Ability to bend, lift, and carry infants and small children.
  • Previous pool safety or swim experience
  • Reliable, punctual, and eager to accept responsibility
  • Actively participate in club group fitness classes, training, or programs
  • Work collaboratively with club staff to ensure the members' needs are met
  • Availability to work mornings, evenings, and weekends
