Full-Time Activity Assistant

Responsibilities of an Activities Assistant:

  • Implement scheduled programs and assist residents as needed.

  • Monitor resident behavior during events and communicate to nursing as needed.

  • Maintain and manage activity attendance calendars.

  • Assist in preparing and displaying holiday decorations throughout facility.

  • Other duties as assigned by Director of Activities and Administrator.

Qualifications of an Activities Assistant:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • Computer knowledge.

  • Previous long term care experience is preferred but not required

  • Must be able to work 9AM-5PM and occasional weekends

  • Must have a valid driver's license & ability to drive a company vehicle-bus
