At Deer Meadows Rehabilitation Center , we are dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to our residents, and we are seeking a compassionate and skilled Activity Aide to join our team. As an Activity Aide, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our seniors by planning, organizing, and implementing a wide range of recreational and therapeutic activities.

Activity Aide Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement resident-centered activities, including games, exercise classes, arts and crafts, and social events

  • Develop and maintain relationships with residents, families, and staff to ensure accurate assessment of resident interests and needs

  • Collaborate with the recreational therapy staff to develop and implement activity plans that meet the cognitive, physical, and emotional needs of our residents

  • Maintain accurate records of resident participation and activity notes

Activity Aide Requirements:

  • High school diploma

  • Previous experience preferred

  • Ability to work effectively with a diverse population of seniors, including those with dementia and other cognitive impairments
