Schedule: Full-time & Part-time 8:30 am to 4:30 pm and Evening Shifts

Duties of Activities Assistant:

  • Assist Activity Department with daily programs for residents based on individual residents' needs, abilities, and interests

  • Running the daily activities based on the monthly calendar

  • Transporting residents to and from activities

  • Assist residents with daily activities to promote residents' highest functional level

  • Be patient and sensitive to the residents' needs

  • Must be comfortable working with memory loss/dementia

  • Maintain attendance records for resident activities on a daily basis

  • Assist with the seasonal decor of the facility

  • Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning up after parties and programs

  • Other duties assigned by Activity Supervisor
