Job description

Wilton Manors Health and Rehabilitation, a skilled Nursing Facility, is seeking a motivated Activities Aide (Must be a license Certified Nursing Assistant) to join our team!

As an Activities Aide you will assist in planning, implementation, and evaluation of recreational, social, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual programs, in accordance with the resident’s assessment and care plan, and as may be directed by your Supervisor.

The Responsibilities include:

· Assist in planning and developing recreation programs of this Facility.

· Assist in developing and maintaining an ongoing quality assurance program for the recreation department.

· Oversee the residents engaged in scheduled activities to promote the physical, social, and mental wellbeing of residents by applying experience in activities and knowledge of diagnoses and conditions of residents.

· Involve the residents and family in planning recreation programs, when possible.

· Coordinate activities with other departments, as necessary.

· Arrange transportation for field trips when necessary.

Job Requirements

  • Must be a graduate of an accredited Certified Nursing Aide Assistant program

  • Must possess and maintain a current state certification as a CNA

  • Must maintain a satisfactory level of attendance and punctuality
