Job Title: Activities Assistant

PART-TIME 8am - 4:30pm Monday, Tuesday, rotating weekends
Location: Greenacres, Florida

Activities Assistant Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Activities Assistant to join our team at Pine Trail Nursing and Rehab Center! As an Activities Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by planning and implementing engaging activities that cater to their interests and needs. If you are passionate about providing exceptional care and making a positive impact on the lives of others, we encourage you to apply!

Activities Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Follow the activities calendar to ensure a variety of events and activities are offered to residents

  • Encourage resident participation in activities and assist with event setup and cleanup

  • Follow the resident's plan of care regarding activities and ensure their engagement and well-being

  • Complete room visits and 1:1 visits to promote socialization and interaction among residents

  • Update the activity log for each resident daily to track their participation and progress

  • Collaborate with the Activities Director to update activities based on resident preferences and feedback

Activities Assistant Requirements:

  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license preferred

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Must be able to pass level 2 background check - fingerprinting with an Eligible status.
