) Activity Assistant
Job Summary:
Join our Life Enrichment team at North Ridge Health and Rehabilitation Center in Manitowoc, WI, as an Activity Assistant. As a valued team member, you will assist the Enrichment Director in planning and executing various activities and events for our residents. This Part-time position schedule Thursday, Friday, and Saturday shifts.
Essential Functions:
  • Assist the resident activity director as needed
  • Utilize the environment to provide comfort and stimulation to the resident population
  • Foster a sense of community within the center environment
  • Lead and participate in individual and group activities
  • Utilize various models to achieve individualized programming, such as pet therapy, music therapy, art therapy, etc.
  • Assist with decorating the facility and preparing for special events and seasonal parties
  • Participate in recreational programs for residents confined to their rooms
  • Maintain records of activities and attendance
  • Store activity equipment and supplies and clean the area after the activity
  • Provide or arrange for comfort/support to residents and families when needed
  • Perform other tasks as assigned
