Job description

Role: Active Directory Administrator

Location: Phoenix, Arizona - Onsite.

• Support day-to-day aspects of the level 3 Migration calls of Active directory during business hours

• Meet the SLA and QOS level

• Co-ordinate with other teams

• Escalation of all pending and failed calls

• Update the knowledge base and documentation

• Designing and planning of AD and Hyper V

• Migration and consolidation of Active directory

• Provide L3  level support on AD, Monitoring and Reporting

• Experience in Testing and implementing security patches released by Microsoft.

• Implementation and Maintenance Migration Windows 2000, Windows 2003 to Windows 2008

•  Knowledge in VMware Administrator.

• Good Knowledge in Documentation for Installation, Testing, deployment and troubleshooting Windows servers.

• Experience in Testing and implementing security patches released by Microsoft.

Technical Requirements                                      

• Strong knowledge of active directory concepts and configuration, i.e. need to understand membership in security groups, inherited groups, OU structure, etc.

• Knowledge of Windows Registry, including knowledge of modifying system registry to support installed applications and document configuration changes.

• Good knowledge on Windows NT 4.0, Windows 2000, Windows 2003 & Windows 2008 including Active Directory.

Excellent troubleshooting skills                                         

• Excellent skills on  windows 2003 and windows 2008 designing & planning                                      

• Hands on experience on migration and consolidation project                                                 

• Experience on  Merger and Demerger of active directory   Environment                                               

• Expert on migrations tools ( Ex. ADMT, Quest e.t.c)                                                     

• Good experience on Security translation                                     

• Good understanding on reporting tools                                        

• Good experience user training and documentation.                                                  

• Should have expertise in backup products                                                    

• Should have worked with more than one patching & antivirus tools                                                       

• Good communications Skills, Interpersonal and willingness to excel and performance oriented                                           

Soft Skills                                                   

-       Excellent communication and conversation skills (Verbal and Written)

-       Good documentation skills

-       Good working knowledge of MS OFFICE (Including MS Project and Visio)

-       Should have a great customer handling skills

-       Able to handle unforeseen situations
