Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Physical Therapist, your daily tasks will include:

• Overseeing the management of clinical outcomes, addressing any outlier cases in collaboration with fellow staff therapists.
• Streamlining clinical workflows to enhance patient capture, referral processing, and scheduling efficiency.
• Developing and executing individualized therapy plans aimed at early intervention and facilitating same-day evaluations when possible.
• Cultivating a professional atmosphere through collaborative practices that promote teamwork, exceptional patient safety, and high-quality outcomes.
• Partnering with the Department of Therapy Operations (DTO) to identify opportunities for clinical improvements, contributing to ongoing organizational success.
• Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with employers, referral sources, and payor groups through effective communication and engagement strategies.
• Mastering the use of advanced clinical systems to ensure optimal documentation, precision in coding, and compliance in charge capture while adhering to all patient care orders.
• Complying with all regulations as dictated by the Florida State Practice Act and relevant regulatory bodies.
• Driving metrics related to patient and client experiences, continuously striving for satisfaction and quality assurance.
• Demonstrating adherence to the Physical Therapy Guidebook during patient interactions, ensuring every visit meets established standards of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your focus will be on a diverse patient population within the rehabilitation center, including individuals recovering from surgery, injuries, or chronic conditions. You will be instrumental in addressing their unique physical challenges and fostering a supportive atmosphere that promotes healing and rehabilitation.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida.
• Proven ability to apply logic in decision-making, allowing for effective problem-solving and solution-oriented approaches.
• Exceptional communication and customer service skills that reflect professionalism and tact in patient interactions.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, experience in a rehabilitation setting would be beneficial to effectively navigate the complexities of patient care and the dynamics of a therapy team. Familiarity with clinical systems or electronic medical records will provide a distinct advantage in managing workflows.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 120,000 to 130,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
