Job description

An automotive parts manufacturing company near the LaSalle, IL area is searching for an EHS Specialist. You will support the Safety Department with maintaining EHS & ISO 14001 standards. The ideal candidate will have previous EHS experience within an industrial environment.

This is a full-time position with excellent benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401 (K), paid holidays & vacation.


Responsibilities:

· Stay updated with environmental, health & safety standards

· Assist with monitoring & maintaining ISO records

· Assist with organizing & conducting inspections on conditions & practices

. Assist with providing compliance reports (EPA & OSHA)


Requirements:

. Associate’s degree or equivalent experience

· At least 2 years of EHS experience within a manufacturing environment

· Knowledge of safety & health regulations is preferred

· Knowledge of ISO 14001 is a plus

. Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
