JOB DESCRIPTION

A client of InsightGlobal is seeking an experienced nursing leader to join our team in a unique leadership opportunity. This position will initially serve as an Interim Director of Nursing (DON) for approximately 12 weeks, providing leadership and oversight of clinical operations during a transitional period. Following the interim assignment, the selected candidate will transition into an Acting Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) role, supporting ongoing clinical excellence, regulatory compliance, and staff development.
This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse leader who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care while mentoring and supporting clinical teams.
Key Responsibilities
-Provide leadership and oversight for all nursing and clinical operations.
-Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, accreditation, and company regulations.
-Manage and support nursing staff, including scheduling, coaching, and performance development.
-Monitor quality assurance initiatives and implement process improvements when necessary.
-Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, administration, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure exceptional patient outcomes.
Support the Director of Nursing in the day-to-day management of clinical operations.
-Assist with staff supervision, training, competency assessments, and professional development.
-Monitor clinical quality metrics and identify opportunities for improvement.


REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

-Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida.
-Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
-Previous Director of Nursing, Assistant Director of Nursing, Nurse Manager, Clinical Manager, or equivalent leadership experience.
-Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, quality assurance, and nursing operations.
