Job description

Position Description

We are seeking an ATX Assembler to perform electronic assembly, disassembly, modification, and inspection of production subassemblies. The position requires following work instructions and drawings, maintaining high attention to detail, and ensuring assemblies meet quality and compliance standards. This is a 100% onsite role supporting advanced aerospace and defense electronics.

Skills Required

  • Electronic assembly and production subassembly experience
  • Ability to read and interpret work instructions and drawings
  • Assembly, disassembly, modification, and inspection of components
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Soldering experience and willingness to become solder certified
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Basic computer literacy and data-entry skills
  • Familiarity with MRP/data-collection systems
  • Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

Skills Preferred

  • IPC-A-610 and/or IPC/WHMA-A-620 certification
  • 3+ years of electronic assembly experience
  • Experience with aerospace/defense electronics manufacturing
  • Experience with quality inspection and conformance verification
  • Prior experience working from detailed assembly drawings and manufacturing work instructions
  • Experience with MRP systems and production documentation

Experience Required

  • 3+ years of hands-on electronic assembly experience
  • 2+ years of relevant work experience or equivalent experience
  • Experience assembling, disassembling, modifying, and inspecting production subassemblies
  • Ability to interpret work instructions and technical drawings
  • Ability and willingness to become solder certified
  • Strong work ethic, communication, teamwork, and attention to detail
  • Ability to work 100% onsite in Austin, TX
  • Must be available for a 4/10 schedule, Monday–Thursday, typically 5:30 AM–4:00 PM
  • U.S. Citizenship required

Education Required

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience may be considered
