Job description

3rd Shift (11 PM to 7:30AM)

Responsible for CNC machine troubleshooting, updating tool paths and completing set ups for CNC Lathes in a high volume production environment.

Skills Required

Knowledge of Hard Turning, Green Turning, Milling, Broaching and Part Finishing machining processes · Knowledge to teach robot and gantry pickup points · Knowledge of Nachi robot controls · General understanding of manufacturing processes and detailed knowledge of lathe tooling/programming

Experience Required

Minimum of 2–5 years of CNC lathe setup experience in a manufacturing environment. · Interpreting G and M codes · Machine set-ups and changeovers on CNC Lathes · Troubleshoot daily production problems through root cause analysis techniques as they occur · Experience using precision measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, and indicators.

High School Diploma/GED
