Successful integration often depends on the manager’s ability to foster teamwork, resolve conflicts, and keep all stakeholders informed and engaged throughout the process.

  • Partner closely with Accounting and FP&A to ensure accurate forecasts and disclosures
  • Prepare clear, executive-ready provision materials for senior management

M&A and Transaction Support

    • US tax due diligence
    • Purchase price allocation inputs
    • Deal structuring considerations
    • Post-acquisition integration support
  • Assist in analysing complex areas such as:
  • NOL limitations (Section 382)
    • Transaction costs
    • Entity rationalisation and reorganisations

Stakeholder Management & Leadership
  • Act as a trusted US tax adviser to senior finance leadership
  • Communicate technical matters in clear, commercial language
  • Collaborate effectively with International Tax, Legal, Treasury and external advisers
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to building scalable, best-practice processes

Experience & Qualifications
Essential
  • CPA qualified
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting (Master's in Tax preferred)
  • Big 4 training, with at least 2-3 years at Manager level
  • Strong background in:
    • US corporate tax compliance
    • ASC 740 tax provisions
    • Multi-state taxation
  • Experience working with private-equity-backed businesses (preferred)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with confidence dealing with senior executives

Highly Desirable
  • Hands-on M&A tax experience (due diligence, integration or restructuring)
