SUMMARY


The Real Estate Acquisitions Agent is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and acquiring single family residential properties that align with the companyโ€™s investment strategies. This role requires a proactive individual with strong negotiation skills, market knowledge, and the ability to analyze potential deals. The Acquisitions Agent will work closely with the management team to expand the companyโ€™s portfolio and meet acquisition goals.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Utilize MLS, networking, and online platforms to source new deals.
  • Analyze market trends, property values, and neighborhood demographics.
  • Perform financial analysis and property valuation to assess the profitability of potential acquisitions.
  • Negotiate purchase agreements, contracts, and terms with sellers and agents.
  • Coordinate and manage the due diligence process, including property inspections, and environmental assessments.
  • Build and maintain relationships with brokers, agents, property owners, and other industry professionals.


Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in real estate acquisitions or related fields.
  • Strong understanding of real estate markets, investment strategies, and property valuation techniques.
  • Proven ability to analyze financial data and make informed investment decisions.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and real estate software (e.g., Salesforce, MLS, Pipedrive).
  • Texas Real Estate License

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with residential property acquisitions and underwriting.
  • Familiarity with local real estate markets and regulations.


Work Environment


The Real Estate Acquisitions Agent will primarily work in an office environment with some local travel required. This role involves some travel to meet with property owners, brokers, and to visit potential acquisition sites.
