Our client, a well-established financial institution in the Portland metro area, is seeking a Payment Processor Specialist to join their team during a high-volume seasonal period. This is an excellent opportunity for detail-oriented professionals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where accuracy, efficiency, and teamwork are highly valued.
Position Overview
The Payment Processor Specialist will support a variety of daily operational functions within the payments department. This role is responsible for high-volume data processing, transaction maintenance, account servicing, and administrative support activities. Success in this position requires exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to follow established procedures while adapting to changing business needs.
Key Responsibilities
• Process debit and credit card maintenance requests, including:
  • Card limits
  • Travel notices
  • Payment reversals
  • Credit balance refunds
  • Fee reversals
  • Card delivery requests
  • Balance transfers
  • Auto-pay setup and maintenance
• Manage instant issue card inventory and coordinate monthly Branch orders
• Perform deposit corrections and manual transaction postings
• Process ACH credit card payment reversals
• Retain and research ATM check bags for dispute resolution activities
• Maintain cash advance receipt records
• Receive, distribute, and process department mail
• Manage daily credit card member communication letters
• Assist with additional departmental projects and duties as assigned

Qualifications
