Job description

A Press Brake Operator sets up, programs, and operates computer-controlled (CNC) machines to bend, fold, or shape sheet metal according to blueprints. They are responsible for selecting tooling, inspecting finished parts for quality, performing routine machine maintenance, and strictly adhering to safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities
  • Machine Setup & Operation: Program and operate CNC press brakes to bend metal parts precisely based on blueprints and design specifications.
  • Production & Quality Control: Monitor the bending process, check parts for defects using measuring tools (calipers, protractors), and ensure quality standards

  • Material Handling: Load and unload heavy metal sheets and parts, often requiring heavy lifting.
  • Tooling Changes: Change punch and die tooling according to job requirements.
