Key Responsibilities

  • Record financial transactions in company ledgers using spreadsheets or accounting software
  • Prepare and file basic financial documents
  • Reconcile accounts by comparing bank statements to internal records
  • Organize receipts, invoices, and physical/digital financial documents
  • Process payroll for hourly and salaried employees across multiple states
  • Verify timecards, hours worked, overtime, and job‐cost allocations
  • Ensure payroll accuracy, resolve discrepancies, and maintain payroll records
  • Assist with sales tax payments, filings, and supporting documentation


Qualifications

  • 3-5 years experience in bookkeeping, accounting, and payroll processing
