Job description

Effective 6/28/26:
  • Starting base pay will increase to $22/hour
  • 1st and 2nd Shift Opportunities with the ability to earn up to $23.50/hour based on position/shift.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Trainer will provide training for Outfitters including, but not limited to: new hire training, department-specific training, MHE & equipment training, cross training, and retraining as required.
Outfitter will be cross trained in other departments as needed and may be asked to carry out special projects.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Onboards new hires and trains them on all company policies and procedures.
  • Works with Supervisors and Operations Managers to develop creative ways to deliver a consistent training message to all Outfitters.
  • Conveys the importance of customer satisfaction.
  • Trains and educates Outfitters on power equipment while emphasizing safety.
  • Ensures safety, quality, and productivity for all new trainees.
  • Keeps detailed records of training sessions conducted and completed by all trainees and any issued certifications.
  • Periodically performs the various jobs within the Distribution Center as required.
  • ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Warehouse equipment experience preferred

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:
  • Production standards and accuracy are especially important aspects of this position that are closely monitored.
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule with mandatory overtime, when scheduled.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must be able to meet the physical demands of the job, i.e. walking, standing, kneeling, bending, stretching, and climbing up and down step ladder for duration of shift and overtime when scheduled.
  • Must be able to repetitively lift, push, pull and carry 50 lbs. for duration of shift and overtime when scheduled.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
  • Required to work indoor in a non-climate-controlled environment.

INDEPENDENT JUDGEMENT:
  • Performs tasks and duties under direct supervision, using well-defined policies and procedures. Work is reviewed by supervisor. Limited opportunity exists for exercising independent judgment and decision making.
