FULL-CHARGE BOOKKEEPER
MOBILE, AL
SUMMARY: Our client is searching for a full-charge Bookkeeper who is familiar with many, if not all, aspects of the accounting cycle. An organized, efficient person who has a good working knowledge with MS suite and can manage all of the company's day-to-day accounting functions for the entire bookkeeping cycle.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Recording journal entries and maintain the general ledger
  • Reconciling bank and credit card accounts
  • Processing payroll and payroll taxes
  • Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Filing sales tax and assisting with tax preparation
  • Monitoring cash flow and preparing budgets
  • Working with external accountants or CPAs during tax season and audits
  • In some companies, supervising accounting support staff
