Job description

Prime Healthcare is an award-winning health system headquartered in Ontario, California. Manages the interactions for Accounts Payable team members with Prime Hospital leadership and associated stakeholders. Serves as the single point of contact for all matters related to Accounts Payable when the Director is not available. Suggests, develops, documents, and implements accounts payable processes and procedure improvements. Ensures accurate and appropriate disbursements in accordance with PHSI Accounts Payable Policy & Procedures manual. Assist in design and development of the Accounts Payable shared service functions for the enterprise ERP system. Reviews and verifies accuracy and policy compliance of invoices and other requests for payment. Works with the Enterprise Initiatives team to maximize the use of new platforms or the implementation of new processes across the system. Proactively plans and coordinates staffing for all areas managed through Accounts Payable. Provides guidance and training to AP Supervisors.


Required qualifications:

  1. 7+ years in accounts payable supervisory experience, with 5+ years in integrated enterprise shared service environment.
  2. Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, finance or the equivalent work experience
  3. Experience with Lawson ERP, OnBase and Brainware
  4. In-depth knowledge of end-to-end procure-to-pay and accounts payable functions and protocols
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to work within a team and independently to complete assignments with minimal supervision

Preferred qualifications:

  1. Accounts Payable certification (CAPP, APM)
  2. High volume processing experience in decentralized and centralized processing environments.

The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
