Job Description:
This position oversees patient accounting receivables/insurance follow-up/remit posting, and billing for the health system. The manager will identify and analyze trends and fluctuations across the system and individual campuses using key indicators such as A/R days and aging to ensure financial viability. This role requires close collaboration with other departments to implement necessary changes in response to governmental or contractual payer requirements. Additionally, the manager will continuously monitor and improve departmental and system processes.Education:
• Required: High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience:
• Required: 1-2 years' experience in healthcare reimbursement, billing and collections and/or accounts receivable
• Preferred: 1 - 2 year Leadership experience
Skills:
• Knowledge of accounting/finance systems
• Excellent Computer Skills
• Strong analytical and interpretive skills
• Critical thinking
• Familiarity with medical terminology and coding
• Effective Oral and Written Communication
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
