Customer Accounts Advisor

The salary range for this role is $13.25 to $14.00 per hour*.  This position is also eligible for incentive pay based on performance.

Aaron’s Customer Accounts Advisors serve as coaches to our customers.  They drive payment collections and lease agreement renewals by understanding lease agreement benefits and ensuring customers are 100% satisfied with their product.  As a Customer Accounts Advisor, you will build relationships with our customers over the phone and face-to-face to bring them one step closer to ownership of their merchandise.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • Assist the Customer Accounts Manager in setting and achieving daily, weekly and monthly revenue and renewal goals.
  • Maintain accurate customer account records in the store system, including payment appointments and account history.
  • Build strong customer relationships to support ownership goals and drive sales.
  • Manage collections and renewals by counseling customers and contacting those with expired or unrenewed agreements by phone or home visits, as required.
  • Assist with merchandise returns and guest deliveries as directed by management.
  • Maintain accurate daily route sheets and weekly maintenance sheets.
  • Loading, appropriately securing product and safely operating the company vehicle.
  • Clean and certify returned merchandise.

Required Qualifications

 

  • Must be at least 21 years of age for positions within the United States and at least 18 years of age in Canada.
  • Requires a valid state driver’s license and compliance with the Company’s Driver Qualification Policy, including satisfactory MVR (driving record).
  • Must be able to be DOT certified, if required in location of position.
  • Able to work a schedule of hours varying from 8:00 am to 9:00 pm. 
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs. on your own and up to 300 lbs. assisted with appropriate equipment and/or another associate.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Retail/customer service experience.
  • High School diploma, GED or equivalent.
  • High energy with the ability to effectively perform all functions of the store.
  • Proper telephone etiquette.
  • Maintain a professional appearance.
