Given the significance of our work and the increasing global reliance on our insights, we are looking for a Strategic Accounts Associate, Global Business to join us as we work to shape the way businesses perceive and navigate global risks.
In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to engage directly with some of Kharon's most significant and influential accounts, spanning leading financial institutions on Wall Street, innovative technology firms in Silicon Valley, and critical government agencies across the globe.
Reporting directly to Kharon's President of Global Business Development and Engagement, your primary focus will be to provide high-level support for the President's initiatives. Focused on delivering actionable intelligence, you will conduct in-depth research on financial crime regulations, trade controls, and supply chain risk management, providing the insights needed to inform strategic decisions and deepen Kharon's global client relationships. Serving as a partner to Kharon's Sales team and senior leadership, you will play a hands-on role in preparing for and participating in client meetings, calls, and presentations, and collaborate closely with our marketing and research teams to support Kharon's presence at industry events and conferences.
This is an excellent opportunity for exceptional candidates who are interested in playing a role in the firm's most critical work and in benefiting from a close working relationship with one of the firm's co-founders and senior leaders.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Supporting the Global Business Sales team and Senior Sales Leadership in preparation for meetings, calls, and presentations with clients and potential clients.
  • Identifying opportunities to continuously improve and streamline business development and sales initiatives and operations.
  • Taking an active role in external meetings, calls, and presentations by educating clients and potential clients with case studies of our research.
  • Collaborating with Kharon marketing and research teams to support Kharon participation and attendance at both domestic and international industry events and conferences, to include drafting and editing of related proprietary material and collateral.
  • Conducting business intelligence research on companies, industries, and geographies, with a focus on financial crime regulatory matters, trade controls and supply chain risk management.
  • Landscaping and identifying potential leads and entry points for business development purposes globally to include at banks, companies, law firms, professional services firms, and the public sector.
  • Providing support on the development of proposals, RFPs and RFIs.
  • Assisting the Sales Team with training and SOPs implementation.
  • Leverage advanced AI tools (including Gemini and/or Claude) to streamline business development workflows, automate lead-generation research, and continuously optimize sales operations.
  • Act as a critical partner to the Sales team by leveraging AI and deep-dive research to prepare high-impact briefs, predictive insights, and tailored materials for client and prospective client engagements.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • A Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, International Relations, Political Science, or a related field.
  • Academic or professional exposure to global security, international relations, financial crime, compliance, or regulatory environments.
  • 4+ years of experience in a business development, sales support, research, or operations role, preferably in B2B, SaaS, professional services, or financial services.
  • Strong research and analytical skills with experience conducting company, industry, or regulatory research, especially related to sanctions, forced labour, financial crime, or ESG.
  • Proficiency in tools such as PowerPoint, Google Slides, Excel, Sheets, and CRM systems like Salesforce and Hubspot.
  • Experience with Sales-forward AI agents or platforms is a must
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated experience drafting proposals, pitch decks, and/or sales collateral.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines across teams.
