Job description

JOB TITLE: Key Accounts Manager

SUMMARY: The Key Account Manager is responsible for the implementation and maintenance of all sales programs for designated key accounts while building and leveraging relationships with customers, vendors and broker partners to increase sales as well as strengthen relationships with these accounts.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Culinary Arts or related field; at least 5 years of demonstrable experience with account management in the food industry; analytical skills with deep understanding of pricing and P&L impact of sales decisions; ability to quickly assess business situation, identify and use needed resources to drive successful sales; understanding and experience with consumer packaged goods; ability to work with external and internal clients in a courteous and professional manner ; excellent analytical, organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; proven customer acquisition, development, and retention skills; ability to successfully execute duties in a responsible and responsive manner ; possess self-management skills with a high degrees of discipline and personal accountability; ability to work independently as well as a team player.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work closely with Chief Commercial Officer in managing key customer relationships and develop strategic partnerships while enhancing Cuisine Solutions' market presence.
  • Execute aggressive sales goals for assigned accounts, service the needs of existing key accounts and secure new business accounts as required.
  • Provide new and established accounts with Cuisine Solutions' current and new product offerings as well as R&D capabilities.
  • Qualify and develop relationships with key decision makers
  • Provide general support and ongoing services to key customers.
  • Partner and plan effectively with internal resources to ensure all areas of the sales process are executed with the highest standards.
  • Responsible for maintaining and providing up to date sales forecast with key account updates to management and operations as needed.
  • Collaborate with R& D to develop products which meet customers' needs
  • Possess a deep understanding of each account's strategic growth plans, strategy and competitive landscape to gain a deeper understanding of key industry trends and issues impacting the customer.
  • Perform other duties as required.
