Responsibilities of the Accounting Tech. :

  • Maintain and support the general ledger, including accurate postings and account updates
  • Perform account reconciliations, ensuring credits and debits are properly verified
  • Process and review financial postings and transactions within the SAGE accounting system
  • Assist with month-end closing activities and preparation of account statements
  • Review financial records for accuracy and assist with resolving discrepancies
  • Support financial reporting and documentation for the Bakersfield College Foundation accounts
