Job Title: Financial Operations Associate
Department: Corporate/Operations
Reports To: Director of Finance
Position Summary: The Financial Operations Associate supports the day-to-day financial operations of Sidekick Therapy Partners, with a strong focus on hands-on QuickBooks accounting, multi-entity financial management, and operational execution. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial records, maintaining organized accounts payable and receivable processes, and supporting leadership with reporting and data requests. This individual will also assist with M&A integration efforts. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable adopting new technologies, including AI-powered tools, to improve accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following duties satisfactorily; other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
QuickBooks Accounting & Financial Management
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records across multiple QuickBooks instances
  • Ensure all transactions are properly recorded and reconciled to bank and credit card statements
  • Set up and manage prepaids and recurring transactions
  • Maintain and organize the chart of accounts in alignment with GAAP principles
  • Enter and manage vendor setup, including maintaining accurate records
  • Process and enter bills and expenses in a timely and organized manner
  • Record journal entries for payroll and shared services allocations
  • Manage credit card entries and reconciliations across entities

Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable
  • Own and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes across multiple entities
  • Ensure timely and accurate vendor payments and invoice processing
  • Track and follow up on outstanding receivables as needed
  • Maintain strong organization across entities to ensure clean and accurate financial records

Reporting & Data Support
  • Assist in pulling and organizing financial data for leadership reporting and ad hoc requests
  • Support the creation and maintenance of financial reports and dashboards
  • Utilize Excel, including formulas and data organization, to analyze and present financial information
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency of data used for internal reporting

M&A Integration Support
  • Assist with QuickBooks and Sidekick's financial processes
  • Support data cleanup and process alignment
  • Help identify gaps or inconsistencies and contribute to solutions

General Responsibilities
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information
  • Support ad hoc financial and operational projects
  • Attend company meetings, trainings, and integration-related discussions as needed
  • Act as a proactive, solutions-oriented partner across teams

Education & Experience
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• 3+ years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or financial operations
• Strong hands-on experience with QuickBooks, including multi-entity environments
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and data organization
Skills & Competencies
• Strong understanding of GAAP principles and chart of accounts structure
• Deep knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple entities and priorities simultaneously
• Self-starter with the ability to independently problem-solve and figure things out
• Analytical mindset with the ability to work with and organize financial data
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
