Avride is a rapidly developing company in the autonomous vehicle and delivery robot industry. We develop autonomous vehicle technology from scratch, leveraging the strong technical background of our core team and over seven years of experience in autonomous vehicle development. Our Finance team collaborates closely with cross-functional partners to drive financial excellence and supports critical business decisions across global operations. About the role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to support our U.S. finance operations. This role will be responsible for reviewing expense reports, maintaining accounts payable and fixed assets as well as
supporting day-to-day accounting and reconciliation activities. This roll will be integral to the month end close process. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience with accounting, and a proactive, hands-on approach to daily operations.

What you'll do

Accounting Operations:

  • Assist with day-to-day accounting operations, including journal entries, prepaid transactions, and month-end close tasks.
  • Responsible for accounts payable, expensify, and fixed assets.
  • Support AP reconciliations and the AP run process
  • Monitor GL accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Process Improvement & Compliance:

  • Ensure adherence to internal controls over AP and fixed asset accounting.
  • Identify and propose improvements to streamline processes.
  • Assist in preparing documentation for internal and external audits
What you'll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of general accounting experience, preferably in a U.S. GAAP based company.
  • Familiarity with NetSuite
  • Strong Excel skills and attention to detail.
Nice to have
  • Exposure to cost accounting or expense allocation practices.
  • Understanding of equity or bonus compensation accounting is a plus.
