Fulfillment.com is a high volume E-commerce Fulfillment Center located in Savannah GA.

Fulfillment.com is looking for a full time Accounting Manager.

The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing daily accounting operations and ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of the company’s financial records. This role plays a key part in the monthly close process, supervises a team of staff accountants, and supports management through financial analysis, process improvement, and strong internal controls appropriate for a private company environment.

The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable balancing execution with team leadership in a fast-paced, operationally focused organization.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and coordinate the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring deadlines are met and financial information is accurate and complete
  • Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules prepared by staff accountants
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts and subsidiary ledgers
  • Perform financial and variance analysis and prepare internal management reporting
  • Assist with annual budget preparation and analysis of budget-to-actual results
  • Maintain, document, and enforce accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls appropriate for a private company
  • Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and company accounting standards
  • Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes, improve efficiency, and strengthen controls
  • Collaborate with operations and other departments to support business and reporting needs
  • Supervise, train, and develop staff accountants, including task delegation, coaching, and performance feedback
  • Participate in special projects and ad hoc financial analysis as assigned
  • Other duties may be assigned as necessary

​​​​​Required Education and Work Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • Minimum of 4 years of progressive accounting experience, including hands-on month-end close responsibilities
  • Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP
  • Prior experience supervising or leading accounting staff preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including working with large data sets
  • Experience working with ERP accounting systems; NetSuite experience preferred
  • Experience in a private company, distribution, or operational environment is a plus
  • Familiarity with ERP accounting systems; NetSuite experience a plus
  • Self-starter, goal oriented and have a high level of energy.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and organization.
