Senior Accounting Manager – Aerospace Manufacturing Corona, CA | $105K - $115K | Direct Hire Position Overview A well-established, privately owned aerospace manufacturing company in Corona, CA is seeking an experienced Senior Accounting Manager to lead its accounting operations. This is a direct-hire opportunity for a hands-on accounting professional who can manage day-to-day accounting while supporting financial reporting, controls, and business operations. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of accounting experience, a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, and strong experience in a manufacturing environment. Aerospace experience is highly preferred. Key Responsibilities Manage daily accounting operations, including General Ledger, A/R, A/P, cash management, and reconciliations Lead the month-end and year-end close process Prepare and review financial statements and management reports Oversee inventory accounting, job costing, and manufacturing-related accounting activities Analyze manufacturing costs, variances, margins, and profitability Maintain and strengthen internal accounting controls and procedures Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning Coordinate with operations, purchasing, production, and management to ensure accurate financial information Manage and mentor accounting staff Coordinate with external auditors, tax professionals, and other financial partners Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable accounting standards Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, reporting, and efficiency Provide financial analysis and recommendations to ownership and senior management Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required 10+ years of progressive accounting experience required Minimum 5 years in a leadership accounting role Strong experience in manufacturing accounting Aerospace manufacturing experience strongly preferred Experience with job costing, inventory, WIP, standard costing, and manufacturing variances Strong understanding of General Ledger and financial statement preparation Experience managing or supervising accounting personnel Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently in a privately owned, hands-on manufacturing environment Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with ownership and cross-functional teams If you are an experienced accounting professional with 10+ years of experience and a strong manufacturing background, we encourage you to apply.
