Position Summary
As the Accounting Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, ensuring financial accuracy, operational efficiency, and compliance with industry standards. You’ll collaborate closely with leadership to inform strategic decisions, mentor a team of accounting professionals, and drive continuous improvement across all areas of financial reporting.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, forecasts, and variance reports.
  • Oversee general ledger operations, accounts payable/receivable, and revenue recognition.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and internal policies.
  • Partner with operational departments to analyze costs, improve efficiency, and manage budgets.
  • Supervise and mentor a team of staff and senior accountants.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and manage annual audit preparation.
  • Implement process improvements and support systems enhancements in financial reporting.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred).
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with 2+ years in a supervisory role.
  • Prior experience in the hospitality industry strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
