Job overview:

Schneider is seeking a Staff Accountant in Green Bay to participate in close processes and assist with driving data integrity and process improvements. The Staff Accountant will also prepare journal entries and complete reconciliations.

Responsibilities:

  • Post journal entries during month-end close.
  • Assist with fixed asset retirements and adjustments.
  • Prepare balance sheet account reconciliations.
  • Help with journal entry and reconciliation tracking.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and assist with assessing the effectiveness of control procedures.
  • Develop, document and implement procedures that enhance Schneiders ability to produce timely, quality and accurate financial information.
  • Provide reporting for quarterly and annual audits.
  • Prepare and submit annual reports.

Skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in accounting or finance.
