College of Nursing Health Care Professions

The mission of the CONHCP is to prepare competent, compassionate professionals empowered to promote health, wellness, safety and quality care for all. This mission is supported by academically rigorous programs built upon a strong foundation of liberal arts education and evidence-based practice that reflect missional, Christ-centered values and a global worldview - catalysts for human flourishing.

Health Care Accounting and Billing: This course introduces learners to the fundamental principles of finance, accounting, and budgeting within the context of the health care industry. Learners examine the various business units, roles, and structures involved in health care planning, budgeting, and accounting. Financial measurements and data analytics for managing costs and productivity are also explored.

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in health care management, administration, or health care accounting and billing within one or more of the following settings:

    • Long-term care
