Position Title: Procurement & Logistics Analyst
Flexible Shift Times: 7:30AM-4:30PM or 8AM-5PM
Wage: Dependent upon experience

Position Summary: As our Procurement & Logistics Analyst, you will be the driving force behind our supply chain operations. You will be responsible for sourcing goods, negotiating with suppliers, managing the logistics of delivering materials to the island, and using data to continuously improve our purchasing strategies and reduce costs.

Responsibilities:

  • Procurement & Sourcing: Identify and vet reliable vendors for materials, tools, equipment, and services that consistently meet PFM's high standards for quantity and quality.
  • Contract & PO Management: Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules to ensure the best value. Issue purchase orders, track order statuses, and quickly resolve any invoicing or delivery discrepancies.
  • Logistics & Freight Coordination: Manage the physical movement of goods from off-island suppliers to PFM facilities, coordinating ocean, air, or ground freight timelines so materials arrive exactly when needed.
  • Customs & Compliance: Handle the necessary documentation and import/export processes to ensure goods clear customs and cross borders without delay.
  • Inventory & Distribution Routing: Monitor stock levels to prevent shortages, accurately update asset information in the tracking system, and plan the most efficient ways to distribute materials to active job sites.
  • Spend Analysis & Forecasting: Review historical purchasing data to identify trends, predict future project needs, and consolidate orders to secure volume discounts.
  • Vendor Performance Tracking: Build long-term relationships with key suppliers, establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and evaluate vendors on metrics like on-time delivery and defect rates.
  • Process Improvement: Identify recurring bottlenecks in the supply chain (such as shipping delays or stockouts) and implement strategic, permanent solutions.
  • Performs other related duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Education & Experience: Accounting, Logistics, Procurement, Purchasing or a related field, or at least two (2) years of relevant professional experience.
  • Core Knowledge: Extensive understanding of contract principles, purchasing procedures, logistics, and effective negotiation tactics.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external vendors.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite or similar business and inventory management software.
  • Professional Attributes: Highly organized with a keen attention to detail, strong analytical capabilities, and excellent problem-solving skills.
