Job Duties

  • Lead all accounting and financial operations for a multi-state hospitality portfolio.
  • Develop annual budgets, forecasts, capital plans, and financial strategies that support company objectives.
  • Provide financial analysis, reporting, and recommendations to executive leadership and ownership groups.
  • Partner with hotel leaders to improve profitability, manage expenses, and achieve revenue goals.
  • Oversee monthly financial reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, cash flow management, and financial controls.
  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and operational reporting.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators to measure business performance and identify trends.
  • Oversee internal and external audits and ensure compliance with applicable financial regulations and tax requirements.
  • Evaluate and improve financial processes, systems, and reporting tools to increase efficiency and accuracy.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of accounting and finance professionals.
  • Support acquisitions, new developments, and other strategic growth initiatives as needed.
  • Foster strong working relationships with operations, sales, revenue management, and executive leadership teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Seven or more years of progressive finance and accounting leadership experience.
  • Experience managing financial operations across multiple locations or business units.
  • Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, cash management, and internal controls.
  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to build, develop, and retain high-performing teams.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Compensation: This position offers a starting salary of $80,000–$110,000 per year, depending on experience, qualifications, and professional certifications. The Director of Finance is also eligible for an annual year-end incentive, rewarding both individual and organizational performance. Candidates with hospitality finance experience, CPA credentials, and multi-property accounting expertise are strongly encouraged to apply.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.
  • Hospitality, hotel, or lodging industry experience.
  • Experience supporting multi-state operations.
