Job Description
About the Role:
As an entry-level Accounting/Finance Analyst, you will support accurate and timely financial and operational reporting. You will assist with regular reporting cycles, help maintain data quality, and partner with teammates to improve processes and deliver reliable insights to stakeholders.
Responsibilities of the Role:
Reporting & Analysis
  • Assist in preparing and validating daily, weekly, and/or monthly reports for business partners and leadership.
  • Perform basic variance analysis and reconciliations to help identify and explain key drivers and trends.
  • Support ad hoc reporting requests by gathering data and preparing summary outputs.

Process Improvement
  • Maintain and enhance reporting templates and workflows using Excel and other reporting tools.
  • Support testing and rollout of improvements or automation for recurring tasks.
  • Help document procedures and update work instructions to improve consistency and scalability.

Systems & Data Management
  • Support data entry, setup, and validation activities in finance and reporting systems.
  • Follow internal controls and maintain organized, audit-ready documentation.
  • Assist in identifying data issues and coordinating fixes with appropriate teams.

Collaboration & Support
  • Work with cross-functional partners to resolve questions and ensure reporting accuracy.
  • Provide responsive support to internal stakeholders by clarifying report definitions, timing, and sources.
  • Communicate status, risks, and issues clearly and escalate when needed.

Requirements of the Role:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; progress toward other certification is a plus.
  • 0-2 years of relevant internship or full-time experience in accounting, finance, reporting, audit, or analysis.
  • Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, basic formulas); experience with BI/automation tools (e.g., Alteryx, Power Query, Tableau/Power BI) is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail with an interest in learning systems, controls, and reporting processes.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a team environment.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt in a changing environment.
