Salary: $70,000-90,000/year

The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily accounting operations ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and effective management of construction-specific financial processes such as job costing, project accounting, and progress billing. This role supervises accounting staff and works closely with project managers and executive leadership to support financial decision-making and maintain the financial health of the organization.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the accounting department including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
  • Oversee construction job costing, ensuring accurate allocation of labor, materials, subcontractor costs, and overhead to specific projects.
  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Manage month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies.
  • Assist with project forecasting, cash flow management, and financial planning.
Requirements
  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
  • 5 years accounting experience
