U-Haul International, Inc is seeking an Accounting Data Analyst to:


  • Provide data analytics of accounting information using SAP and SQL environments working closely with Accounting Group and outside Property Managers.
  • Analyze the Accounting team's user requirements in SAP FI, AP, AR and MM modules through testing/queries. Leverage understanding of accounting principles (GAAP) to arrive at the optimal process and system design and then implement said process or design.
  • Create and update reports and dashboards to visually represent key accounting metrics.
  • Work on project team to spearhead SAP system upgrade from ECC environment to SAP S/4HANA
  • Generates financial reports and review for reliability.
  • Analyze user requirements, procedures and problems to automate processing or to improve existing computer system.
  • Work as accounting liaison between accounting users and programming staff.
  • Write detailed description of user needs, program functions and steps required to develop or modify computer program.
  • Prepare workflow charts and diagrams to specify, in detail, operations to be performed by equipment and computer programs and operations to be performed by system personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Accountancy, Accounting or Finance and three years of experience involving each of the following:


  • Applying accounting knowledge including GAAP principles
  • Advanced level Excel
  • Oracle SQL Developer or SSMS
  • Data analytics
  • SAP
  • Creating flowcharts
  • Microsoft Azure DevOps
